Former U.S. Sen. Chuck Hagel, a UNO alumnus, recently announced his plans following his retirement after serving two terms in the Senate.
Hagel, 62, announced earlier this month that he would join the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University as a distinguished professor in the practice of national government.

PHILADELPHA (UWIRE) - President Obama announced earlier this month that the federal government would cap annual salaries at $500,000 for top administrators at companies that receive large amounts of federal stimulus money.
The new policy, however, will not affect the annual salaries of college presidents - including that of University of Pennsylvania President Amy Gutmann - whose universities are among the possible recipients of federal funds.
