The UNO women's golf team started their season off well, landing a third place finish at the Sept. 8 and Sept. 9 Drury University Fall Shootout with a team score of 633. California University of Pennsylvania took first with 615, followed by Upper Iowa University in second with 625.

No. 5 ranked UNO (3-0, 2-0 MIAA) and No. 8 Northwest Missouri State (3-1, 2-0) meet in a key MIAA conference game at 1:30 p.m.
In the preseason coaches' poll, Northwest was picked to finish first in the MIAA with UNO second.

UNO's women's volleyball team was unable to keep up with Washburn University last night, losing all three sets to the Lady Blues. The Mavericks put up a good fight for the first two sets, but lost momentum as Washburn continued to play strong (25-22, 25-21, 25-15).
