The sounds of traditional Native American music and laughter spilled out into the student center's third floor hallway on Nov. 15. Inside the Umoho Room, students had gathered to acknowledge Native American awareness month with games, chili and honey-soaked fry bread.

Activities targeted global learning

Between Nov. 12 and Nov. 16, several activities and events were organized for International Education Week, with the effort being spearheaded by UNO's International Studies and Programs department. The activities were "designed to celebrate the diversity and achievements of UNO's international student population.
