It's not about whether Muslims should build a mosque and certainly not about whether they should be allowed to practice their faith, but valid arguments can be made against allowing the Park51 project to be built a few blocks from Ground Zero.

This project will include a mosque.

Over the summer Mike Catagui, a tenured professor at SDSU was fired from his position as extension entomologist. Both Catangui's side and the university have said that one reason for his firing was because his recommendations for spraying for soybean aphids differed from the State's recommendation.

SB 586 takes aim at sexually-oriented businesses

Missouri is known as the Show- Me State, but after Aug. 28 it could become the "you can't show that here" state. On that date, Missouri SB 586, a bill aimed at "sexually oriented" businesses, is set to take effect. The legislation will impose a plethora of restrictive stipulations on strip clubs, which includes the banning of full nudity and alcohol sales.
